La Bottega Mediterranea

La Bottega Mediterranea @ Changkat - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

This Italian restaurant is a new one in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As the women in the restaurant mentioned she brought up this business herself with her family. She is originally from Italy so every product that they furnish to eat, or even buy because they got a very delicious small supermarket at the entrance of their restaurant.

In this picture, I have chosen to try the gnocchi with beef lardons topped with a cheese sauce; very delicious. The portions of the dishes are quite big, well enough for one person. What I especially enjoyed about this dish is that what I ate came originally from Italy and that is amazing because I love Italien food. If you do too I definitely recommend going there. For dessert, I treated myself with a scoop of homemade chocolate ice-cream/gelato originally from Italy - truly amazing! A must if you love ice-cream.

Looking at the whole of the restaurant it isn't quite big but enough to sit with few people to have a meal or a drink. I really like the cute small tables which are located near a big window so the natural lighting coming through

creates this nice environment. To add to that, they painted the back all yellow, and that color truly always brings a good vibe anywhere. The only downside is that I wished the menu would have more choices; it is very limited but everything inside is so worth trying! All homemade from Italy.

As a whole, this restaurant located near Changkat was a great experience and I will for sure go back since the food is imported from Italy itself and as a European, it's quite cool to feel back at home in that Europe feel of food.
